What is collected

ThrowSage collects the account email and name from the sign-in provider. It stores throw videos uploaded by the user or synced from the app, the analysis outputs derived from those videos, usage counts per account, and payment status. The web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, browser, page requested) for 14 days; the page's buttons report a click name to a separate log, kept the same way, and nothing else.

Video and analysis data

Videos are stored on ThrowSage's server and processed to produce 3D body and hammer data. They are visible only to the owning account and to coaches the owner has explicitly granted access to.

Accounts and sign-in

Sign-in is handled by Clerk. ThrowSage stores the account identifier, not passwords. Sign-in uses cookies set by Clerk that keep the account signed in. The home page reads one of them in the browser, only to send a signed-in visitor straight to their throws. ThrowSage uses no advertising or tracking cookies.

Payments

Payments are handled by Stripe. ThrowSage stores subscription status and never card numbers.

Where processing happens

The web server runs on a European VPS. GPU analysis runs on short-lived rented machines (RunPod) that receive the video for the duration of the job and are destroyed afterwards.

Retention and deletion

Retention follows the account's plan. The free tier keeps analyses for 30 days. Deleting the account removes videos and analyses; a support request can remove individual throws.

Sharing

Nothing is shared publicly by default. A demo throw is shown only with the athlete's written permission.
